East Bay Lacrosse : Information for Parents

Refund Policy?

Please reach out to the East Bay Lacrosse administrator for any refund requests. The board will review any such requests and make a determination.

Lost & Found?

Please e-mail the boys or girls directors if you have found an item and want to find it's rightful owner. All items will be donated or discarded after July 1st.

Financial Assistance?

The East Bay Bristol County Lacrosse Association is a Non-Profit 501-C-3 organizations dedicated to benefiting the youth of the East Bay areas in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. EBLAX does not want financial capability to be in any way an inhibitor to children participating in the program.

We recognize that the cost of registration and that the purchase price of lacrosse equipment is significant. If these costs are a burden then EBLAX is prepared to provide assistance by way of reduced registration fees. EBLAX will offer a set number of Financial Assistance Packages each season for players who have requested assistance by the deadline. Please follow the below instructions if you would like to apply for the upcoming season.

Required Equipment?

Boys' and girls' lacrosse play by different rules and have different requirements for equipment.

Boys' lacrosse equipment normally includes:

  • Cleats
  • Stick
  • Helmet
  • Gloves
  • Elbow pads
  • Shoulder pads
  • Goalies pads (NOCSAE certified)
  • Mouth guards
  • Protective cup

Girls' equipment normally includes:

  • Cleats
  • Stick
  • Goggles (SEI certified)
  • Mouth Guard

Other Safety Concerns?

NO jewelry (earrings, watches, necklaces, chains, bracelets, etc.) is allowed. Tape/band-aids over earrings are not permitted for lacrosse. Please remember to remove all jewelry prior to practices and games so that your coach does not have to ask.

NO clear, white, or "teeth" graphic mouthguards are allowed.

NO mouthguards are to be attached to goggles, nor should they have strap sticking out.

NO eye black markings other than a stripe below each eye

NOTE: Medic-alert medals are not considered jewelry and shall be taped to the body and the alert may be visible.
